Agricultural Security Areas
At the Board of Supervisors meeting on March 21, 2007 the
Board approved establishing an
Agricultural Security area
in the Township. Initially this includes 12 parcels. This will
promote long term farming in these areas. It is also a required step
towards permanent farmland
preservation. Additional land may be added to the ASA in the future.
